. . . REPORTED THAT "MODNEX" (AKA, KEN KATSURA OF "CA ADVANCED INDEP FOR KEN KATSURA 2016" . . . DECLARED:
First, let me state that defaulters of government student loans now have the 'moral high ground' over their critics covering the past 17 years. So, please feel free to chide/base them for it. Furthermore, I can assure you all that if you have any outstanding government sponsored student loan debt carried over from the 1980s or up to the mid 1990s, as a result of default, that your debt will not be passed to your significant others, first. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either patently misinformed or is lying to you.
If you have government student loan debts from this era as a result of defaulting, the debt will be passed to the U.S. Treasury Department for collection. They will not indebt your parents, family members or spouses . . .
Remember, if you fall into this category, the government has absolutely "no moral high ground" to speak of. Not being against government, you should point out that there was: 1 - No way that you could have predicted the future, since the government itself has failed to do so economically. 2 - Such loans were "subprime Ninja" loans (you qualify for them based on financial need, not on your ability to repay them with existing assets) and you were not informed of the history of such loans and their consequences. The government should not have sponsored nor allocated such loans.
3 - The govt. "laundered" such loans as benign "student loans" or "higher educational loans" since the "household name" financials who provided the capital only provided the "sub prime" capital if the govt. "laundered" the monies and protected their good name. This is a "deceptive" practice.
4 - "Think Before You Sign" is a scam, clear and simple. There is no way an 18 year old from a disadvantaged upbringing could forecast their economic future since the govt. can't even do it with a multi-trillion dollar budget and some of the best economists in the world. :) Furthermore, again, the proverbial "disadvantaged 18 year old" is not told of the "true nature" of the loan offered to them: A Ninja Sub prime Loan . . . How can they possible "Think Before They Sign"?
The Obama Administration indirectly concurred with this analysis of this "system of scam" by dropping further private sector funding of the Higher Educational Loan program provided by the Federal government - I was "point" on this matter, and now your children will not have to undergo such a corruption and graft geared system in our lifetimes . . .
The Obama Administration, however, is helping those who defaulted on their sub prime home loans, while screwing those who defaulted on their sub prime student loans accrued from the period noted. This "double standard" has no constructive purpose whatsoever and a consistency in principles must be demanded from the administration . . .
While the disadvantaged who were exploited by this program "economically and socially languished," the investors "profiteered" from earnings of the financials who provided the capital for the program . . . as with each default, the taxpayers paid them with interest and penalty.
Many such investors into these financials were, I hate to say it, Baby Boomer/Senior government and Baby Boomer/Senior union employees . . . seeking any means possible to earn a fast buck for their retirement "exit strategy" . . . disturbingly enough . . .
It is certainly time for a new generation of government and union leadership to take control . . . and I have great faith that this change has already begun and is continuing to occur as we speak . . .
