KATSURA STATED:

"I know that many have already been made aware that, for all practical intents and purposes, the noble effort to produce alternative green biofuels has failed in the U.S. according to the latest issue of Scientific American. I have come up with two alternatives, however for "GoKatsura2016" . . .

I believe that, for the short to mid terms, we need a viable environmental strategy which picks up where the major parties and the Greens have met disappointment and failure. I believe we should begin seriously investigating hydrogen fuel production along with geothermal energy tapping to produce even more hydrogen fuel.

We will have to compromise, environmentally speaking. In order to remedy our dependence on overseas sources of energy and to make a significant difference in slowing down the global warming trend, and its collateral damages, we will have to compromise.

The trick is to produce clean energy from clean energy, and do it cost effectively! What our biofuels efforts have done is produce clean energy from dirty energy and it's not cost effective leading to the shutdowns we're seeing across the nation and the decreased capacity to produce food causing increased prices.

I'm proposing that we produce mass amounts of hydrogen fuels from "Points Across America," build dams to capture "free & clean energy," and convert it into hydrogen fuels "onsite" where there is water to produce the hydrogen fuels. Like a "New Deal," this will produce many badly needed jobs for Americans, as well.

The co-proposal is a "geothermal" proposal, which taps geothermal energy, another strategy to produce "clean energy from clean energy," converting heat to steam which produces "work" which produces "clean energy" in the form of electricity. This electricity will then be conversted to hydrogen fuel, as well, again onsite where there are plenty of fresh water sources.

My "Clean Energy from Clean Energy" strategies, unlike the past green biofuels strategy, will not take up lands which we use to produce foods and will not increase food prices. Simultaneously, we will invest in the production of in-vitro produced meats, fowl and fish, as well.

Also, I pledge to determine, BEFORE spending billions upon billions of dollars on my new energy strategy, how cost effective and sustainable it will be in REALITY. Why not just generate the energy from "points across America" and send it through wires? I suspect that the loss of energy which takes place is too high, so I'd rather energy be made "mobile" as we do with fossil fuels, and use it as we do fossil fuels.
